Products Overview
Anti-phenolic Yellowing Agent Honesoft® APY is a universal anti-yellowing agent for textiles during storage, providing durable resistance to phenolic yellowing, especially yellowing caused by contamination during logistics and turnover. It features excellent anti-yellowing performance, prevents yellowing caused by NOx gases in the air, and inhibits phenolic yellowing induced by BHT, an antioxidant used in packaging films. Under normal conditions, no additional acid is required for pH adjustment, making operation simple. Compliant with OEKO-TEX®ECO PASSPORT and ZDHC L3.

Core Advantages
- Dual Protection - efficiently blocks BHT migrants from packaging and airborne NOx, eliminating phenolic yellowing at the source.
- Simple Process - no additional acid adjustment is needed in normal production, making it scale-up friendly.
- Eco-Compliant - meets textile environmental requirements and is suitable for white and light-colored fabrics such as cotton, nylon and spandex blends.
- High Compatibility - supports the two mainstream textile-finishing processes - exhaustion and pad-dry-cure.
Application Scenarios
1. Anti-yellowing in storage for greige, light- and sensitive-colored fabrics.
2. Knits, sweaters and nylon fabrics prone to phenolic yellowing.
3. Exhaustion process.
4. Padding process.
5. Finished-goods protection through logistics and long-term warehousing.
FAQ
Q1: What yellowing does it prevent?
A: Phenolic yellowing (BHT-induced) and NOx-gas yellowing in the air - especially yellowing from contamination during logistics and turnover.
Q2: How is it used?
A: Exhaustion: 1.0 – 3.0% o.w.f., treat at room temp. 20 min → dehydrate → dry 100 – 150℃. Padding: 10.0 – 30.0 g/L, dry 100 – 150℃.
Q3: Is it eco-compliant?
A: Compliant with OEKO-TEX®ECO PASSPORT and ZDHC L3. Always consult the latest MSDS before use.
